CetraRuddy creates international division

5:14 pm, August 17, 2011

Nancy J. Ruddy and John Cetra of CetraRuddy Inc. announced the creation of a new international division of the award-winning architectural and design firm.

Over the past three years, CetraRuddy has been successfully expanding in India and Great Britain.

The firm is currently working on a number of projects that include Choice Marina, a luxury waterfront condominium in Cochin, India, currently under construction; Adyar Villas, a new residential and hotel property in Chennai, India, with True Value Homes; and an 18,000 s/f restaurant perched atop the Heron Tower in London.

The international group will be led by Joseph Jebran RA, an authority in international development, who will spearhead the firm’s strategic initiatives overseas.

Working closely with the principals and Emmanuelle Slossberg, the firm’s director of strategic development, Jebran will focus on business opportunities across the residential, hospitality, cultural and commercial categories, particularly in the Middle East and Asia.

His fluency in multiple languages and experience living and working internationally will be instrumental in growing CetraRuddy’s already thriving international practice.

A registered architect, Jebran brings more than 25 years of experience working in design, construction and real estate.

Most recently, he was vice president at SEDCO (Saudi Economic and Development Company), where he managed a diverse spectrum of large-scale real estate developments, including the award-winning Galleria Hotel and Al-Mada Twin Towers in Jeddah Saudi Arabia, and Al Madinah Hotel in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, from design through construction.
Jebran holds a Diplome D’Architecture from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris France, accredited by the Yale University School of Architecture.
