Several of New York’s leading accounting professionals working in the real estate industry have developed a new association for women called the Association of Women Accountants in Real Estate (AWA+RE). The group, founded by Robbin Orbison, CFO of Silverstein Properties, will act as a career development resource for members by hosting events and networking opportunities throughout the year. Other members of the organizing committee include leaders from CohnReznick Group, Friedman LLP, Fundamental REO, LeFrak and Related.
