A new program will make available $5.5 million in matching grants for New York City businesses most impacted by Hurricane Sandy, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. As part of this new business alliance, Sunshine will represent tenants and landlords through Colliers’ full-service global real estate platform, while also growing S.Sunshine & Associates LLC, her Minority- and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE).
Through the newly formed exclusive alliance, Colliers-Sunshine will focus on companies that are led by and/or focused on serving women.

James D. Kuhn, president of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, has made a personal donation of $500,000 to support sleep medicine research at NYU Langone Medical Center.
Calling the gift “exceptionally generous,” NYU Langone doctors who direct the research said it will fund innovative work in the field of sleep disruption and memory.
