In an era of massive residential towers, with almost too many amenities, it is a breath of fresh air sometimes to encounter a property where minimalism equals simplistic and artistic luxury.
With rooftop cabanas, heated floors and maybe one the largest master bathrooms in New York, Alchemy Properties’ Griffin Court gives tenants the deserved comforts of well-designed, top-notch quality without being ridiculously gaudy and flashy.

City Point questions deserve some answers

Building & Construction Trades Council of New York president Gary LaBarbera this week claimed the 1.6 million square feet City Point development in downtown Brooklyn is failing New Yorkers.
He said the project hasn’t created good jobs that strengthen local communities despite receiving bucket-loads of public subsidies.

Everything personal good for business, says NGKF duo

When Jason T. Greenstein and Daniel L. Levine met at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in 2001 as young trainees, they fast became friends, despite one being a diehard Boston Celtics fan and the other being fiercely loyal to the New York Knicks. This friendship led to them partnering up on a key endeavor, running the 2004 New York City Marathon together.

12 years later, the team executed 41 transactions measuring over one million square feet in 2012 alone, working on deals from Shanghai to San Francisco.

The foundation for their success so far, say the duo, has been their ability to forge longstanding relationships with the people who represent their client companies.
